Here at Ground Floor Farm, we are big believers in the health benefits, taste, and magic of fermented foods, from sourdough bread to pickles to beer. Our education program will focus heavily on the age-old craft of fermentation. Expect workshops on baking, cheese making, brewing, vinegar making, pickling, and soda making. To start off, we’re offering a free workshop on Fermentation 101: sauerkraut. Learn the basics of krauting, and how to apply these methods to a variety of recipes and ingredients.
