From the Organizer:

Chemicals banned in European countries are being heavily sprayed in Florida, especially in citrus growing areas, with Martin County being one of the highest.

Industrial mono-crop farming has changed agricultural practices replacing millions of self-sustaining family farms. This cultural change has impacted the microbiomes of all living things; affecting our health, our well-being and our environment.

These cultural changes have placed stresses on citrus trees and their ability to fend off disease. We will show how changing these practices allows the groves to restore to health and production.
