CSA for 2016-2017 is full.
Our CSA highlights what we love to grow best: fresh salad, cooking, and juicing greens like spring mix, kale, chard, lettuce, and chicories, plus fresh herbs, turnips, radishes, tomatoes and cucumbers.
What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a long practiced local farming program, originally conceived as a way to support small farms and protect farmers from some of the difficulties of growing and marketing food.
CSA works like a subscription service. Community members purchase "shares" in the farm at the outset of the growing season and receive regular allotments of farm-fresh food from that farmer throughout the season. This benefits the farmer by giving her the cash she needs for seeds, tools, supplies, and labor upfront when her costs are highest. The community is benefited by preserving local fresh food options.
