that a strong connection with our food and confidence in the kitchen is fundamental to a healthy and happy life, as well as a flourishing community.
Food production, from agriculture to cooking, is one of the most quintessentially human activities out there.
In the Ground Floor Farm kitchen, we host regular workshops on food production techniques, such as baking, cheese making, and fermenting veggies. These fast-disappearing skills are fun and fulfilling, whether you plan on trying them once or incorporating them into your everyday routine.
We've got an exciting program of summer camps here at the farm. Learn to bake bread, discover the building food and cooking, and get imaginative with arts and crafts. Your child will have a blast learning, exploring, and getting creative in a safe and nourishing setting.
Ground Floor Farm is available to do onsite field trips or come into your classroom. When kids ask those tough questions like,"Carrots come from the ground?!" We don't mind getting into the nitty gritty.
Let us share a little bit of our know-how with your classroom! From farm tours to in-kitchen workshops, we've got a lot to offer here at the farm. Contact us for details at 772.600.4230. See you soon!
