About Cooking Basics Series: In this four part series for 6th grade and up, kids can get acquainted with the kitchen and gain confidence in their cooking skills. We'll learn about basic tools and techniques, all while making a variety of healthy, delicious, and easy recipes. Your child will be packing their own lunch and cooking family dinner before you know it!

Learn to about the history and role of sugar, honey, and other sweeteners while preparing a variety of desserts and sweet treats

Learn about the history and role of salt and umami, while preparing delicious savory veggie-based dishes
Sour: Monday, December 21st, 5:30-7pm
Learn about the role of acid in the kitchen, while preparing tasty and tart recipes, from salads to sweets
